Rowan the Landseer Newfoundland

Carter and Honda snuggling together on their bed, poor old doggies!

My handsome boy went to the groomer again. So I decided to take some photos while he is clean and beautiful! He seems to have slowed a little on his growing...he is about 8 months old and about 120 pounds. We'll see just how big he ends up being. I am waiting for an opening to get him into an obedience class, hopefully within the next few weeks. He is such a puppy; very sweet, but still needs to learn some more manners.

Sportsmen's Show 09

Thursday we went to the Sportsmens Show up at the PDX Expo Center. We usually go every year. It was all much the same. We were brave and just took the boys and a back pack...no stroller! It was actually okay and they did pretty darn good. They enjoy looking at all of the hunting and fishing gear and the "animals". There are several dog kennels that are there with their hunting dogs, and they are always fun to see to (my favorite part). They always make me realize how nice a well trained dog would be...if only I had that much time =) The best part for the boys is the fishing pond. Kids get to fish for free from the stocked pond and either catch and release (that's what we do) or keep two fish each! The poor fish don't have a chance...but the kids LOVE it. Each of them caught two, but they flopped and splashed so much, we don't have a picture of any of the actual fish...just the kids. We really would have needed another set of hands to get some better pictures, but you'll get the idea! We of course saved the best for last and called it a day soon after our fishing was done, all to fast for the tired boys, who of course wanted to do it again!

Allen is not a photographer! Not really sure what he was taking a pic of!?! LOL

Half time show for the Super Bowl!

Need I say more...??? He needed a hair cut and he wanted a Mohawk - again. I said okay, why not? Well he likes it, but was sad because his head was cold! Too funny! It probably wont last long cause he really likes wearing hats. That's hard to do with this hair!
Chase thought that James needed his picture taken too!
So this is what I did during half time of the big game.
