My handsome boy went to the groomer again. So I decided to take some photos while he is clean and beautiful! He seems to have slowed a little on his growing...he is about 8 months old and about 120 pounds. We'll see just how big he ends up being. I am waiting for an opening to get him into an obedience class, hopefully within the next few weeks. He is such a puppy; very sweet, but still needs to learn some more manners.

The Newfie goes to the Groomer

This afternoon I dropped off Rowan at the groomers to have a bath, get brushed and have his nails trimmed. I used to do some dog grooming so why you say, would I pay someone else to do this?... Well, the truth is Rowan no longer fits in my large old claw foot bathtub! I picked him up a couple hours later and found a fresh smelling, smooth & clean feeling, really white(and black) dog. They said he serenaded them the whole time he was in the tub! (Apparently Newfoundlands are pretty vocal.) So here is our "moose" as we lovingly refer to him. I put myself in the picture just so you can see how truely large he is, although the bulk of him is kinda hidden since he is sitting. Look at the size of his head and you can tell how big this "puppy" is.
