Time goes by...

Really!?! It has been that long since I have updated this? Well, okay; I guess the answer is YES, it has!! Obviously with three children now I have even less time to do extra things like keep up a blog. Plus I haven't had that many pictures to share- we seem to be cursed with camera problems- and no time to fix them. LOL

Any who...here is where we are at.

Chase is six years old and I am homeschooling him this year. We are doing catch up/review Kindergarten work and First grade stuff too. His reading skill are really coming along, and it is such a joy to see him reading and how proud of himself he is. Chase is into sports and hunting, Transformers - although he has not seen the movies, just cartoons- and still likes knights, dragons, castles. He loves to play the Wii and even more so when he gets to do it with Allen. He is becoming a good helper and would love to be in charge of everything. lol

James is four now and into trying to keep up with Chase as much as possible. He is also very much his own person as always. James likes building with legos and k'nexs especially if its a helicopter or plane. He likes helping in the kitchen or playing with food in general. He is very imaginative and spends a lot of his time pretending to be all different characters. Right now its a lot of Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon. He likes spending time outside and with the dogs and he really enjoys "helping" with Lincoln.

Lincoln is just shy of six months old. Time has gone by so quickly. He is a happy baby and loves to smile and giggle. He has his bottom front two teeth in -they came in around Oct 14th- We haven't started any solid foods just yet, but hope to sometime after he's six months. I'm ready for him to take a bottle occasionally, but where as he used to take one a few months ago now he wants nothing to do with one no matter what we try. He is rolling over, army crawling, rocking on hands and knees, occasionally full on crawling but he prefers the army crawl, and he has just started pulling him self up on toys/furniture to his knees, not quite to standing yet. Currently he is on antibiotics for his first ear infection and he also had to start on Albuterol with a nebulizer for his breathing. I guess I should be more upset by that, but just seem to take it in stride because we have been there done that with Chase.

Allen finished up his motorcycle riding events for the year with his race in Centerville Washington a few weekends ago. It was a 24 hour team relay race and the weather made for a very undesirable riding conditions to put it mildly. This is the second year we have gone to that race and have really enjoyed it. The RUTS- Racers Under the Son - group is who we pit with and it is so nice to be with other believers while you are waiting for you husband to come back in from riding a lap in the pitch black, nasty mud, or just even normal conditions.

The other day we went to the Ag Show at the fairgrounds in Albany and had a good time spending the day together as a family. The boys all enjoy checking out the tractors and other equipment : }
