Yesterday our baby boy turned one year old! Seriously! This past year with him has been great and I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Little Linc is walking now, although he still mostly crawls because it is faster. We are finally sleeping in our crib at night *for most of the night* and at nap time and just about done nursing. He is so amazingly his own little person and and the joy he brings all of us is wonderful. No wonder younger kids in families *the babies* are such amazing and spoiled people. lol He has four people completely enthralled with him. ( = So here are some pictures from his first birthday party that we had on Sunday at our house. We planned for a completely outdoor festivity and the weather cooperated -at least half way. We got no rain, however it wasn't exactly warm. But that didn't stop the older kids from playing hard for several hours. We did cake and ice cream at about 4:15 - it was supposed to be 3:3O, but the birthday boy was sleeping * in his crib * ( ; Later around 5 ish we started up the grill and enjoyed a potluck with friends and family and a little later Allen started a fire for us. It was a great day and we thank all of you who helped to make it such a special day.
of course Aunt Jenny's cake pop was better than Mommy's cake! lol
