OUCH Lincoln!

I guess I should just be thankful we made it through the first year without a (semi)serious injury...it's worse than it looks in this pic, but whatever, didn't want to torture him trying to get a better picture.

This trying to walk business is dangerous. I didn't see it, but he hit his face on the bottom of the dining room chair and for those of you who don't know, ours are made of wrought iron. OUCH
Thought I should probably take him in to have it checked out, but of course it's a Friday afternoon and it's not bad enough to warrant an ER visit. Additionally it just about crosses over the line onto his lip and as we know from James -yep, very familiar with this type of injury- if it does, they won't do anything to it for fear of leaving a jagged scar in the lip line. So, we just washed it, put a cold compress on it and away he went. I'm sure it will be sore for a few days...no salty or acidic foods ( ;
